Montauk Trip

The weekend went from this...

To This...
To This...
With a whole lot of fishing and other nutty non-sense in between it all.

Yes, It was.

Yes, It was a good weekend!

Friday, I went to the STL Philharmonic Orchestra with a few friends and had a great time although I wish they would have performed in a better suited auditorium, the show was still great.

Saturday, I went to the one acts with my roommate Charlie and they were also quite enjoyable. After the one acts I had a phone conference with JP (the organizer of the Trek) and started getting things in line for that.

Sunday, Charlie and I went to watch the Lindenwood Symphony Orchestra perform (since I was unable to play with them this semester). The choices were great and It was a lot of fun to be able to sit and watch a group you usually play with, perform.

This Week, fishing trip & Spring Break!!!

A Good bike ride.

Good Weather.

A wise man once said "Any day on a bike, is a good day."

Agreed.

Potential Summer Map

I think I have nailed down the first month of touring for the summer. This will be a solo leg of my journey followed by a week family vacation in Mountain Home, AR.

I will travel by train to Trinidad, CO spending a few days at the base of the mountains riding in and out of the mountains on an unloaded touring bike so I'll get to just see it and not have to work too hard:p

Here's a Map:

It Worked!

After my bike camping trip I decided u needed a way to cook food but
did not want to spend much money doing it...

I ended up finding a plan for a Soda Can Stove and here is what it
looks like!

Blow Me, Twitter.

This week has been bland butttt I made it that way and I like it thatta way.

Found out my Ulnar Nerve is definitely "inflamed." Dr. Mellander was crazy, but cool and put me on super anti-inflammatory's.

I do not like Twitter. I think Micro-Blogging is a waste but it seems to be a new Fad that I will not be joining!

Planning on doing about 20 - 30 miles or so on the bike tomorrow! Looking forward too it since I have rode stationary bikes all week.

Peace, for Now.

Katy Trail Trip - Saint Charles to Bluffton

So, I finally got to go on my trip! Although it got cut short by about 5 hours, I didn't get to ride from Bluffton to Jeff City (32 miles) due to storms, It was still awesome.

Below is a slideshow of the trip.

On the trip, from so much time leaning on my hands, my Ulnar Nerve has been bothered and that effects your pinky (both hands are bothered) so it isn't much fun to type. So, for now you will just have to look at the pictures... Hopefully soon I will be able to type up the whole trip.

It's Windy!

I am currently biking to Jeff City. Day 2 of the trip, I am out in
some flats and the winds are at least 20 MPH so I decided to stop and
take a break!

It's been a great trip so far and I have met a lot of cool people!

Look for a big blog in the next week about the trip.

My first Bicycle Camping trip is close!

Only 2 days until I leave on my trip. I am pretty stoked on it, I just wish I knew the weather was going to be clear. They are only calling for 30% chance Fri/Sat and a 60% chance for rain on Sunday.

So I do not think rain will be that big of a deal.

Of course it won't be a big deal compared to this guy's problems...

That's a big FML.
